Horizontal automatic carton sleevers
DM Pack's ICE horizontal automatic box-sleeving machines are highly automated solutions designed to package single or multipack products by wrapping them in cardboard blanks. Their main function is to wrap the product in a flat blank, before sealing it at the bottom. These machines are perfect for small to medium-sized products, such as thermoformed trays, sponges, glasses and other similar items. The flat cardboard blanks are carefully picked or released from the storage area and positioned above the product being fed from the loading conveyor belt. Next, the flaps are folded around the product and a dab of glue is applied to the bottom to complete the packaging process. The ICE box-sleeving machines boast a compact layout and are equipped with a built-in loading conveyor belt. Partially automated changeovers can be performed by touchscreen-controlled motorised movements. Furthermore, the fully accessible cantilevered structure allows for quick and easy maintenance and cleaning.

Highly-automated box-sleeving machine designed to wrap cardboard blanks around single or multipack products. The blanks are picked up or released from the storage area, positioned on top of the incoming product from the loading conveyor belt and wrapped around it. The ICE horizontal automatic box-sleeving machines are available in different versions, based on the desired speed: up to 35 ppm, 90 ppm and 125 ppm. They are ultra-flexible, due to their ability to adapt to the product size and quality of the cardboard being used.
Specific characteristics
The machine's dimensions vary according to the desired speed: from 3.5 metres in length and 1.2 metres in width. The supported cardboard sizes range from a minimum length of 60 mm to a maximum of 300 mm, and a minimum width of 60 mm to a maximum width of 495 mm. In terms of product dimensions, the length can vary from 60 mm to 270 mm, the width from 40 mm to 270 mm, and the height from 20 mm to 130 mm.
DM Pack also offers the box-sleeving machine in a stainless steel version; this is ideal for environments requiring corrosion resistance. In the standard version, the chains, pulleys and sprockets are galvanised, whilst in the stainless steel version, they are made of painted or nickel-plated steel.
