STAR EVOLUTION is the new line of continuous side-sealing packaging machines, designed to offer high performance and a simple, intuitive user experience. The machine is ideal for packing and fully sealing various types of products with shrink film, non-shrink film, single-fold or flat foil packaging. Thanks to the flexibility of the machine and the various size options available – together with an intermittent fixed bar, box motion system, simple seal, Euro Slot or easy opening – it covers a very wide range of product packaging.
General characteristics
The 3-belt side-sealing packaging machine is compact and simple, with a 500 version that includes an integrated 3 m x 1.2 m tunnel. Due to its ultra-flexible nature, the machine can handle an increasingly wide range of product types, including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, plastics, food and more. The machine is suitable for packaging single or multipack products – whether manually or automatically loaded – with the option of grouping them together by means of additional systems designed and manufactured by us, such as stackers, groupers and diverters.
The machine is extraordinarily accessible and can be operated from both sides: the 3-position operator's station is fitted with a rotating touchscreen. The machine’s design is excellent, when it comes to maintenance and cleaning, and is available in painted or stainless steel versions. Furthermore, a customised machine can be created by choosing various devices from the list of optional extras.

Specific characteristics
STAR EVOLUTION is available in COMBO format with a compact or separate tunnel. The 'BABY' version boasts a bar width of 300 mm, while the other available sizes are 500, 600, 800 and up to 1100, with standard heights of 300 mm or optional heights up to 400 mm. The 500 and 600 versions are also available in 'COMBO’ format with an integrated single-chamber tunnel. Thanks to the optional and 'double' sealing systems, it can work with all types of film currently available on the market: polyolefin, polythene, polypropylene, flat film, single-fold film, neutral or printed, BIODEGRADABLE and compostable (PLA-MATER B etc.).
The machine is available in an intermittent or box motion version, depending on the customer's speed requirements. It can also be equipped with a 'rotating' bar for higher speeds, including the special versions with an intermittent or translating Vertical Sealing Bar. Various sizes are available: up to 1100 mm in width, 400 mm in height and an infinite length. For larger products, we recommend the Ares Bundlers or Argon Bagging Machines.

Intuitive touch screen for simple format change, thanks to the possibility of saving programs set on “recipes” and easily referencing them. The touch screen can rotate in 3 different positions to allow the operator to work on all sides of the machine, front, back and side.
Removable reel unwinder, for fast passage of the film and rapid change. The machine can work with flat and mono-folding film.
Version 500 and 600 combo with built-in single chamber tunnel, to meet reduced dimensional needs, without sacrificing the quality of the end product.
Central belt and movable entrance to always work with the product at the centre, without having to move the tunnel chamber or the loading belt before the machine.
Electric box on view, positioned up high, perfectly accessible for the operator.

Built with the same structure and same philosophy, our Flowpack has a top or bottom sealer (reel from beneath or above) instead of the side reel.
