Top sealing flowpack
STAR EVO SS is the new top-sealing flowpack packaging machine that’s ideal for packaging and fully sealing various types of products with flat shrink and non-shrink film. The film completely encompasses the product: the two film flaps join together and are sealed at the top. The machine's new generation and design is characterised by its ultra-accessibility and ease of use. Thanks to the machine's great flexibility and various size options, together with the choice of an intermittent, box motion or fixed rotary bar for simple sealing solutions, wire sealing or knurled sealing for simple packaging or the creation of Euro Slots and/or easy opening packing, the machine covers a wide range of product packaging: cosmetic, pharmaceutical, plastic, food, electrical, industrial and everyday products.
General characteristics
STAR EVO SS is suitable for packaging single or multipack products, whether manually loaded, automatically loaded and/or grouped by means of additional systems designed and manufactured by us, such as stackers, groupers and diverters. The machine guarantees remarkable savings in terms of film and energy consumption, thanks to the option of producing a form-fitting pack.
The machine is extraordinarily accessible and can be operated from both sides: the 3-position operator's station is fitted with a rotating touchscreen. The machine’s design is excellent, when it comes to maintenance and cleaning, and is available in painted, stainless steel or stainless steel/aluminium versions.

Specific characteristics
STAR EVO SS is available in a 'BABY' version with a bar width of 300, 500 or 600 mm, with the widest model measuring 800 mm; all boast a standard height of 200/300 mm. A shrink tunnel from our range can be added to complete the packaging cycle. Thanks to the optional and 'double' sealing systems, it can work with all types of flat film currently available on the market: polyolefin, polythene, polypropylene, neutral or printed to produce different types of packaging (with Euro Slot, handle, pre-cut for easy opening or with an 'open-close').
The machine is available in intermittent, box motion or rotary bar versions, depending on the performance required. The 1000 mm-long infeed belt is included and the reel holder is mounted beneath this.

Details top-sealing flowpack
Intuitive touch screen for simple format change, thanks to the possibility of saving programs set on “recipes” and easily referencing them. The touch screen can rotate in 3 different positions to allow the operator to work on all sides of the machine, front, back and side.
Reel unwinder with single or double reel holder with joined seal bar for fast film change.

Constructed on the same cantilever structure, it is easily accessible, and with the same side packaging machine philosophy, our Flowpack assembles the top sealer (reel on bottom) instead of the side sealer.
